This course is an introduction to textiles for students planning to start a career in the fashion industry. The objective of the course will be to ensure that the student will be versed of the types of textile used in the design and manufacture of apparel. The course will detail the industry structure and the main components of textiles: Fibre, yarn, fabric, construction, colour application and fabric finishes.
