A basic course in finance beginning with an introduction to record keeping, accounting terminology and the preparation of financial statements. Also included is an insight into analyzing financial statements, budgeting, cash management, cost accounting in industrial, commercial and institutional environments for both the public & private sectors, sources of capital and methods of evaluating capital expenditure programs.
