Introduction To Industrial Hydraulics | St. Clair College
Course Code
ERT304
Course Credit
3

This course introduces the student to the basic principles of fluid power and the safety aspects involved with hydraulics. Hydraulic actuators and components utilized in the production, preparation and control of hydraulic will be examined for their purpose, characteristics of operation and implementation in a circuit. Additionally, hydraulic circuits, circuit logic and component depiction in schematic diagrams utilizing standard symbols will be covered. The student will be able to select industrially used hydraulic and electrical hardware and to design simple sequencing and control circuits.
