Industrial Pneumatics | St. Clair College
Course Code
ERT203
Course Credit
2

This course introduces the student to the basic principles of compressed air and the safety aspects involved with pneumatics. Pneumatic actuators and components utilized in the production, preparation and control of pneumatics will be examined for their purpose, characteristics of operation and implementation in a circuit. Additionally, pneumatics circuits, circuit logic and component depiction in schematic diagrams utilizing standard symbols will be covered. The student will be able to select industrially used pneumatic and electrical hardware and to design simple sequencing and control circuits.
