ELC 503A is the advanced level instrumentation course for common core 309A and 442A apprentices. Apprentices will understand the instrumentation terminology for both process and motion control. They will install, connect and test automatic control of process systems. Instrument air supplies will be installed and operated. Apprentices will also revise and explain instrumentation drawings (PID's) using standard symbols.
