Introduction to Technical Project/Report is an exploratory course. Students are required to choose a suitable topic, obtain department approval, submit a plan for the completion of their report, and present this plan orally to the rest of the class in EET 502. Topic selection and fundamental research is made with a focus for the major project/report. The technical project must include an acceptable operating model of the researched concept(s). The technical project/report will focus not only on technological aspects but also influences on technological development, impact of technology on peoples lives. Each student will then be required to submit a technical paper based on a literature search and supervised laboratory work where applicable. The student will give a formal oral presentation of his/her technical paper to the E.E. Eng. Technology faculty and fellow classmates.
