This course covers single and polyphase power networks, power measurements, power factor, and power factor correction. Also included are magnetic circuit principles, ac and dc excitation of magnetic circuits and principles of electromagnetic energy transfer and conversion. Principles of operation and analysis of three phase rectifiers.Transformer operation, testing, voltage regulation and efficiency are covered., Lab projects and exercises support the material covered in the lecture portion of the course.
