Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are industrial computer systems. They are used in every aspect of industry and over the years they have evolved to include motion control, process control, distributed control systems, and complex networking., In this introductory course, technology students will study programming techniques using addressable instructions associated with the Allen Bradley SLC500 PLC . Students will analyze PLC programs associated with industrial automation and demonstrate their own PLC programming skills via a number of computer animated process control simulations
