Research and development as well as engineering firms design systems that require precision, data storage, etc. Electronic engineering designs are fabricated to meet these needs in the form of printed circuit boards. In this course electronic engineering technology students will design printed circuit boards through CAD software in order to meet these demands. Technology students will create profession schematic diagrams, and simulate the operation before transferring their design to a printed circuit board. Students will also be shown how to recognize and eliminate design flaws and create artwork ready for a printed circuit board manufacturer.
