This course examines the characteristics of learners and provides the Educational Assistant with the background to facilitatae learning in the classroom by applying theories to the learning process. The concepts covered will be based upon the latest findings with respect to learning styles, information processing, multiples intelligences and brain research. The course will address developmental differences and strategies for accommodating exceptionalities.
