Introduction To Early Childhood

This survey course is designed as an introduction to the profession of Early Childhood Education. It reviews the history of the profession and introduces the student to major philosophies of early education., This course emphasizes the role of the Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E.) in providing quality care. Adhering to legislative requirements, designing schedules and learning environments will be discussed.
