Clinical Theory II

In this course, students learn the principles of evidence based practice, how to select evidence based interventions, and prepare a written report and oral presentation which presents a case and recommends interventions based on scientific evidence and best clinical practice. Tobacco cessation counseling is also discussed, Students are required to plan a tobacco cessation session based on a case study. Students self-evaluate their clinical skills, and prepare a written report outlining accomplishments and progress goals.
