The concepts of interpersonal communication theory and interprofessional collaboration will be introduced. Factors that affect interpersonal communication will be studied with a focus on factors for constructive conflict resolution, principles of team dynamics and group processes that enable collaboration, and understanding one's own role and the role of other professions to meet client goals.
