This course discusses oral anatomical landmarks, dental terminology and identification, tooth morphology, and establishes an understanding of the relationship between structure and function. A detailed study of the head and neck anatomy and the relationship of these structures to the body's major organ systems will be presented. Emphasis is placed on integrating the knowledge of anatomy and physiology to its application in dental hygiene practice
