This course introduces students to the use of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics techniques used in the healthcare industry. Statistical techniques and data analysis tools such as Excel and R will be used to analyze healthcare data related but not limited to diagnose diseases, improve patient, staff, and facility scheduling, improve patient flow and wait times, hospital purchasing and inventory control.
