Cyber-Physical Vehicle System Security

Students will learn about Transportation Cyber-Physical Systems (TCPS) Security with emphasis on the security of cyber-physical systems (CPS) and internet of things (IoT) devices. Principles of privacy, modeling and metrics, real-time guarantees, and autonomous systems will be examined for CPSSEC. Students will learn to incorporate cybersecurity tools and strategies to protect CPS from unintentional faults and malicious attacks. The course covers the development lifecycle process to incorporate cybersecurity into cyber-physical vehicle systems from the concept phase to decommissioning.
