This course introduces essential security concepts of the Linux operating system from basic commands, examination of the file system, scripting, server installation, configuration, and administration. Students will learn about system architecture principles to secure the operating system. This course emphasizes current industry security standards and methodologies, such as firewall configuration and permission management. Students will learn to utilize tools and services used in the ethical hacking process to detect vulnerabilities and protect endpoints and networks within an organization.
