This course introduces students to planning and managing computer and network security, including compliance and operational security; threats and vulnerabilities; application, data, host security; access control and identity management, and cryptography. The course also covers psychological approaches to social engineering attacks, Web application attacks, penetration testing, data loss prevention, cloud computing security, and application development security. Students will gain hands-on learning experiences with various security tools and software.
