Applied Hydraulics begins with the study of fluid properties (including water) at rest and in motion. Topics illustrate the applied aspects of hydraulics so the Civil Engineering Technology student can relate principles and concepts to other areas of study such as municipal services. Attention is given to pipe lines such as in a water distribution system.
