The course of study includes the history of skin care, the fundamentals and importance of bacteriology, sterilization and disinfection methods and how they pertain to the Esthetic Industry as well as their safe use., Chief components of this course include the study of the physiology, histology, structyres and various skin type. Health of the skin, enemies of the skin, aging factors, working with physicians and the various, cosmetic procedures will be discussed. Personal hygiene, professionalism and first aid as it relates to salon and spa businesses will also be discussed.
