This course introduces a broad range of areas associated with effective leadership including communication, mission and vision statements and group cohesion. The impact of styles of leadership, values, ethics and diversity, on creating change in diverse settings will also be explored. Using an integrated approach to studying leadership, this foundation course explores leadership theories, the application to leadership and current issues, as well as critical and self-reflection on one's own leadership qualities.
