This course is designed to introduce the learner to the basic law(s) and theories that apply to atomic structure, chemical bonding, Lewis dot diagrams, chemical formula, chemical reactions stoichiometry, solution chemistry, acid/ base and precipitation reactions, the behaviour of gases, oxidation/ reductions reactions and basic electrochemistry.
