This introduction is designed to help students learn the basic concept of workplace injuries. Review of the relevant legislation will focus on the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario and compare it to similar legislation globally. The area of study will include defining roles and responsibilities of each party of the workplace with special empahsis on the employer, worker and supervisor. It will include indepth discussions regarding Bill C-45 and Bill 168 as they relate to workplace injuries and compliance to legislation.
