This course explores current, new and emerging technologies that directly impact manufacturing processes. Such topics as Electrical Discharge Machining (Wire Cut), Electrical Discharge Machining (Die Sinker), High Speed Machining, 4-axis and 5-axis machining will be examined. Students will work in the CAD lab and on the shop floor in a related CAD/CAM course (CAM312) to apply these principles.
