This course places students in the CNC lab, on the shop floor, where they set-up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce professor assigned projects, and unique projects designed and programmed by each student. High speed machining will be used on multiple materials. The use of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) will be introduced. The use of both longhand and CAM-generated tool paths will be incorporated.
