This course is an extension of CAM100 - CNC Machining Theory 1, and is dedicated to continuing the learning related to conventional/CNC milling and conventional/CNC turning. The setup and operation of a conventional surface grinder will be introduced. Furthermore, a series of course discussions that focus on comparing historical benchwork and machining strategies with advancing technologies used in the metal cutting industries will be conducted.
