Students enrolled in this course will demonstrate the practical applications of shop safety, standard and precision measurement, and benchwork and hand tools. Students will also produce a variety of practical projects by performing machining procedures on the following machine tools; drill press, power saw, pedestal grinder, CNC milling center, and conventional and/or CNC lathe.
