This general education course surveys the elements of e-commerce. Drawing on foundations of marketing, accounting and general business, students examine the commercial, personal, social and economic factors that have contributed to e-commerce. This course examines the fundamental principles of e-business including the integration of business relationships, seizing competitive advantage, business transactions, security, profitability, and e-commerce infrastructure.
