The objective of this course is to contribute to the development of the participant's logistical skills and knowledge relative to cost effectiveness and timeliness of the supply chain. Key elements of this course include criteria for selecting suppliers, location and functions of warehousing, modes of transportation, design of the distribution channel and after sales support, the use of service providers, and logistics concepts (EDI, JIT, MRP, DRP, ETC.).
