The Canadian Firearms Safety Course is administered by the RCMP/CAFC to implement the Firearms Act and its regulations, and other related legislation regarding firearms. Students learn to handle, store, display and transport both non-restricted and restricted firearms and ammunition safety. Students obtain their Possession and Acquisition License for both restricted and unrestricted firearms under the Authority of the Chief Firearms Office.
