A continuation of BPT 209N, designed to introduce the student to common terms, changes, etc. commonly found on shop blueprints/sketches. Topics covered will include: drawing revisions, material to size, arrowless dimensioning, co-ordinate dimensioning, metric drawings, auxiliary views and oblique planes. Gear terminology and gear train ratio effects will also be studied along with related information for splines, etc. The student will also develop problem-solving skills by interpreting written information to produce working sketches/drawings at a practical level.
