A continuation of BPT-120 designed to introduce the student to more complex shop blueprints and sketches and provide information needed for understanding and correct interpretation. Topics covered in this course will include: sectional views; right-angled triangles; detail and assembly drawings; coordinate drawings; line omission; thread forms and dimensioning; fabrication drawings for weldments and pipework symbols. Time spent on the drawing of detail and assembly prints to be used in the fabrication of components.
