This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic fundamentals of baking and pastry skills through a series of demonstrations and practical hands-on labs through instructor lead classes. Lab and equipment safety, sanitation, and work procedures will be emphasized. Each student will produce a variety of baked and pastry goods, building a solid foundation of essential skills, knowledge and the disciplines necessary to compete in today's industry.
