This course provides students with the fundamental principles of various imaging systems found in health care facilities. Students will learn the principles of ultrasound, x-ray technologies, and magnetic resonance imaging. Also, throughout the course the image acquisition principles of picture archiving communication systems (PACS) will be integrated.
