This course introduces the students to present-day environmental issues that impact living and non-living systems. Topics relating to the impact of fossil and nuclear fuels on the quality of life and land will be discussed. Students will examine the effects of pollution on global warming and the depletion of the ozone layer, recycling, land-filling and sick building syndrome. By completing this course, students will better understand their personal responsibility in the keeping of a clean earth for future generations.
