This course covers fundamental concepts of operation systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and the importance of integrated information systems in an organization in order to effectively support the firm's strategy and appropriately react to market changes in a timely manner. Concepts covered educate students on the importance of managing operations across all industries by presenting the fundamentals in productivity improvement based on problem solving methodologies and the application of real-world enterprise resource planning systems.
