This course is a study of practical and theoretical applications of mobile hydraulic systems. It will include such areas as: function, structure and operation of hydraulic formulas, fluid maintenance, fluid conductors, controllers, conditioners, installation of components and safety using hydraulic systems. Pneumatic fundamentals will also be discussed including: operational principles, components functions and installation, characteristics of air. Schematic symbols and circuits for air and hydraulic systems will be covered. This course is a study and application of proper safety & working procedures. This shall include hand tool safety, power equipment safety, proper hoist/lifting procedures, rigging devices and bridle slings. Use of proper clothing with foot and eye protective care. Fastener application use and repair is a major part of this course.
