Simultaneous Asl/English Interpreting

Second in a series of two courses, this course will allow students to further integrate the process of simultaneous interpreting from ASL into English as well as from English into ASL within interactive situations (dialogues, group discussions and presentations). Students will apply interpreting techniques to increasingly complex situations while working in teams with either deaf or hearing colleagues as well as solo. Students will have the opportunity to apply what they learn, practice self-assessment and employ strategies for self improvement during the scheduled lab session.
