This course will allow the student to explore ASL narratives and analyze the structures for discourse style, sign production and meaning. Students will be encouraged to find linguistic equivalents for ASL literature in English and to be able to draw upon aspects of ASL literature when interpreting from English to ASL. Students will also develop their own artistic self-expression in ASL.
