This course deals with the more complicated aspects of the structural requirements and limitations of Part 9-Buildings. The course addresses the law with respect to permits, OBC, Acts and regulations. Excavation, footing, foundation and structural framing inspections will be discussed and examined. The course does not deal specifically with the design of structural elements. This course can assist the student in his/her preparation to write the Ministry of Housing Exam that is required for "Ontario Building Code Certification".
