This subject is an introduction to the discipline of project management with a focus on architecture and construction, covering in brief the concepts of project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement management., Students will learn the comprehensive competencies required to move a project through the various phases of conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing. The curriculum also provides a thorough exploration of economics and financial analysis, operations research, contracting and procurement management, leadership skills, and professional best practices.
