Part 9 - Buildings - Fire Protection: This course covers the design and verification of fire resistance ratings; requirements for fire separations based on building classifications; the separation of major occupancies, service spaces and exits including fire penetrations of fire separations. The means of egress, exit facilities, and fire protection and suppression methods will also be addressed.
