This course introduces the students to fundamental chemical principles and concepts that explain the behavior of matter. It also equips them with the needed skills to apply the International System of units, enables them do dimensional analysis and identify chemical taxonomies. Course Topics include measurement and units, atomic structure, chemical bonding, physical states of matter, nomenclature, stoichometry, organic and biochemistry. This course will enable the students to analyze chemical reactions equation and identify chemical compounds.
