Management accounting, focusing on internal customers, will identify, measure, analyze, interpret and communicate information that assists executives and managers in fulfilling organizational goals. Topics emphasized, include activity-based costing, budgets, standards, variance analysis, income effects of alternative costing methods, and cost behaviour. Also discussed are, human relations and motivational problems inherent in the role of the accountant.
