Observation and Documentation | St. Clair College

This course is designed to introduce the students to the processes of observation, documentation, interpretation and application. Students will practice observing young children, use a variety of documentation tools to record the actions, interpret this information to gain understanding and apply this information to different aspects of a program for young children.

Prerequisite: Foundations of Early Learning and Care and Building Responsive Relationships. IMPORTANT COURSE NOTICE: This course is part of the Part-Time Early Childhood Education Diploma program and is intended to be taken in conjunction with the required curriculum courses for this program. Not to be taken as a standalone class.
