Service and repair of time pieces for the hobbyist. In this course you will learn to repair and restore older, mechanical type clocks.
Students will be required to provide their own clocks to work on for the duration of this course. The following tools will be needed for clock restoration and repair: slot, Phillips and Robertson screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, side and end cutters, measuring tape, small tool box and small camera (cell phone camera is acceptable). NOTE: Students will be required to bring an 8-day American clock key wound for the first day of this course.
