WHAT?
A Tuition Bursary is a gift of money from the College that is awarded once per academic year to a deserving student who shows a financial need. A T4A slip will be issued for income tax purposes. Due to the number of applications we receive and the limited amount of funds available for distribution, bursaries will be awarded based on the number of applicants who qualify.
WHO?
Tuition bursaries are available to domestic post-secondary students who are registered full-time and have a satisfactory academic standing (minimum GPA 2.0).
WHEN?
Tuition Bursary is available to full-time domestic students studying in the Winter semester. The application is available from February 1st to February 28th.
Please note: If you qualify for a Tuition Bursary, processing takes approximately 2-4 weeks. Your Bursary will be applied toward the debt if you have outstanding tuition. If your tuition account is in good standing, you will receive a cheque in the mail (after requesting your refund). Please ensure your address is correct on your SIS account.
ELIGIBILITY?
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the 2024-2025 academic year. Students are awarded the bursary ONCE per academic year.
