St. Clair's 2020-2021 Alumni of Distinction nominated for Premier's Awards
A virtual ceremony has been set to celebrate the Premier's Awards for outstanding College graduates in 2021. The online celebration will take place Thursday, Nov. 18, with comedian and TV host James Cunningham serving as MC.
Ontario's colleges have nominated 126 alumni for this year's awards.
Purple flag to highlight woman abuse
St. Clair College raised the purple flag Monday, in recognition of two campaigns by Hiatus House to raise awareness about woman abuse.
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month throughout Ontario. Hiatus House is hosting the Shine the Light™ on Woman Abuse and Wrapped in Courage campaigns in Windsor-Essex to highlight the issue of woman abuse and its impact on all of us.
Vaccine hesitancy among young adults to be subject of panel discussion
WE-SPARK Health Institute is hosting a student-led event to address vaccine hesitancy among young adults across Windsor-Essex.
The event “Sparking Vaccine Confidence Among Students of Windsor-Essex” will feature five panelists including a science expert, a frontline worker and students answering a variety of questions regarding their experience with COVID-19 vaccine hesitancies.
