As a high school student in Detroit, my first public speaking competition ever involved a passionate pitch for the sale of the now-demolished Pontiac Silverdome.
If you listen to the studies, you might believe that people would rather do anything but stand in front of strangers and speak. Framed within the familiar settings of the radio/television/podcast/job interview, this workshop is designed to help you pinpoint your strongest points and develop a plan to communicate them assertively, using nothing more than a standard index card.
