With St. Clair College planning to start online classes March 23, we are pleased to hear Canadian Telecommunication companies will provide assistance to their customers in response to COVID-19.
Bell, Rogers and Telus are waiving extra usage fees for all residential Internet customers for a period of time.
The move by these Canadian Telecommunication companies will allow our staff and students access to the Internet and other channels without having to worry about additional costs.
Through to April 30, Rogers will be waiving long-distance and roaming fees, along with data usage caps on home Internet through to May 31. https://www.rogers.com/covid-19/updates?icid=tl-hpmbccon-hrcwrls-080119598

Telus is waiving home Internet overage charges for customers who are not on unlimited data plans through to April 30. https://www.telus.com/en/about/covid-19-updates?linktype=notification_bar
Local Internet provider MNSI has also waived overage fees in March for customers on limited plans.
During this confusing time, we continue to work collectively to assist our students to the best of our ability while maintaining a safe campus and community for all.
